Kamakhyaji’s Message

In 2018, two major deadly mass shootings occurred in USA. On 14th February 2018 an 19 year old student killed 17 and injured 17 others in a high school in Parkland, Florida. Another such incident occurred on 18th May 2018 wherein 8 students and two teachers were murdered by a 17 year old student.

There have already been 27 School shootings this year alone. Young school children routinely rehearse what to do if a gunman enters their classroom.

A survey by Pew Research Center found that 4 in ten Americans had at least one gun in their household in 2021.

Small Arms Survey, a Swiss based leading research project estimate that there where 390 million guns in circulation in the US in 2018. The US ratio of 120.5  firearms per 100 residents in 2021 is really horrifying.

According to the US Centers for Disease Control Prevention (CDC) a total of 45222 peoples died from gun related injuries during 2020. Out of this about 54% deaths were suicides by gun.

Majority of the American rich people and their leaders are supporting this "gun culture" for garnering money and power not only in their own country but in the whole world. Most of the recent wars in the world are fought with the American arms. America is the biggest seller of arms and weapons in the world. It is the perversion of their greed that they want to make money out of conflict and violence.

Peoples' claim to have a right to posses gun in the US shows nothing but their fear of insecurity of their wealth.

Most of the people of USA and even the Government of USA do everything in the name of God, for example, President of America takes oath of his office in the name of God. But it is the irony that the so called most learned and advanced country of the world knows nothing about God. They cannot, therefore, understand the Kriya Yoga teaching that God does not exist but Existence is the Godliness. Nature is the manifest part of the Godliness and therefore, laws of Nature are the laws of Godliness. It is taught in the Kriya Yoga and also in the Divine Melody i.e. Bhagavat Gita that Fearlessness, Love, Justice, Equality, Simplicity, Contentment, Compassion, Innocence etc are laws of the Nature. When understanding of these basic Existential laws happens, then only a person or a society can have peace within. Unfortunately, people of USA are running after money and consumerism by the exploitation of the Nature and leaving the Life languishing in lurch.

Wealth and prosperity which are generally desired by mankind, often cause attachment and ego in an individual as also in society. These lead to more indulgence in self-centred activities and convert mental pollutions into mental perversons. This further causes fortification of ego and eradication of wisdom. In this way, one goes far away from the Nature and its laws and eventually, meets his own total destruction.
