Profound response to a routine question raised in a religious / spiritual gathering, organized in a reputed Indian University.

J. Krishnamurti was asked about ‘ Soul ’ and JK shot back : Which one ? S-O-U-L ? or S-O-L-E?

The gathering burst into loud laughter! This is indeed unfortunate, as it indicates the incapacity of the divisive mind to understand / perceive the immensity and sagacity of this spontaneous response from J.K.

A strong sole in a good shoe is essential for long and fast walk daily to remain in healthy body. And walking alone, without talking over the cell-phone, in passive-holistic-choiceless awareness, is required to keep mind healthy.

This is the dimension of ‘What is’ or facts, without any trace of ‘what should be’ or fancies of the mind! This is the S-O-L-E, which must not be ignored or belittled in anyway, just because the other ’S-O-U-L’ (which has been created by various religions in different parts of the world) has sabotaged our energy to understand Truth-Veracity-Compassion, without the vulgarity of vanity-illusion generated by religions.

All kinds of horrible belief-systems have been invented by shoddy minds all over the world creating menace for the mankind! So let us deeply meditate on this spontaneous short question asked by the sage.
