A Genius from poverty-stricken country Bangladesh — A Noble-Prize Winner — has proposed a world of Three Zeros — Zero Poverty, Zero Unemployment, Zero Net Carbon Emissions.
Prof. Muhammad Yunus, head of the Economics Department at Chittagong University — A Bengali Muslim by birth (but a citizen of the World indeed) founded the Grameen Bank with the concept of microcredit pioneering an economic movement that has helped uplift thousands and thousands of families out of poverty. He pleaded that human beings need not be money making robots. He appealed that the humans be multidimensional with selfishness and selflessness in the right proportion and in perceptive energy of understanding. Let the vulgarity of vested interests be diminished adequately by the veracity of the virtue of Life-Love. His Nobin (New Entrepreneurs) program is indeed praise-worthy. Corruption is the killer disease — he pointed out. Good Governance is the key to building a society that works for all. Fair and credible elections ensure peace and prosperity. Unfortunately, the muslim conditioning prevented him to mention the Awakening of Intelligence which Yoga may bring about in the Horizon of Humanity.
