One can perceive in one's being, all the time, that someone dances to a rhythm!

Along with that dance, there is the melody on drums too in rhythm!

Sadness,  happiness, all opposites held so carefully by the mind are just swinging easily and effortlessly!

And the "good" and "bad" are seen dancing to the tune!

‘‘Birth’’ and ‘‘Death’’ have thus been transcended too and are seen dancing in rhythm together.

 

Oh what Joy! Oh what Joy! Oh what Joy!

Day and night one can perceive the dance of "freedom" and "fetters" too!

In that wave of joy, of liberation,

one perceives that one has transcended apparent opposites of every sort!

 

 

Jedin shaukol mukul gelo jhore 

 

One is summoned by You on a day when one is left with nothing!

As ideas, knowledge, opinions, all have been dropped! 

And one wonders why on such a day one has been beckoned! 

Everyone talks about different paths to reach You,

But one finds only dead leaves of concepts and conclusions while walking along those paths! 

And in hand, there is an empty basket!

And thus there is nothing to offer to "please" You!

One has forgotten all the mantras & rituals to amuse  you!

But lo! one can now listen to Your flute! 

And while  listening to it, one is amazed to find that this is not what everyone blabbers about ‘God’!

One has not made any elaborate arrangement for this grand occasion,

as nothing now exists as belonging! 

A revelation has now taken place,

ending the stupid psyche which obscures perception!

You are now in one’s embrace. There are no two anymore!
